Title of Position:
Finance Manager
Job Duties:
As a key member of the Brookfield Infrastructure Finance Private Funds Team, you will report to the VP, Finance and work alongside a strong team to build a ‘best in class’ finance function within the business group. You will assist with all analyses, planning and reporting as well as provide support to key business leaders within the finance and investor relations teams. You will consistently be interacting with several key stakeholders, including senior leadership, private fund limited partners and investor relations. As a Director, you will be very well positioned to become one of the lead team members involved in the fundraising of our next flagship infrastructure fund.
- Monitor, complete or review incoming investor inquiries pertaining to performance metrics, treasury and ongoing operations for our Private Funds which have over $35 billion of capital committed;
- Develop a thorough understanding of fund operations, complex structures, legal contracts and workings to ensure exceptional quality and service is provided to our investors;
- Apply contract management expertise to ensure all contract requirements are met
- Significant involvement in the investment activity of the respective funds under management, including liaising with the various internal and external stakeholders required to successfully close and fund investments;
- Preparation and review of quarterly investor reports prepared under both US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards, including the quarterly investment valuations, case study presentations;
- Preparation and review of the audited annual reports prepared under both US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards, covering multiple global funds and entities;
- Liaise directly with external stakeholders (audit, tax, legal) to build collaborative and
productive relationships;
- Significant involvement in future fundraising efforts by providing analyses and reports
used for marketing purposes, and preparing responses to due diligence questions from
investors;
- Compile content for fund presentations which includes but is not limited to the analysis of
operating results, liquidity, debt and hedging strategies;
- Coordinate investor related matters across various teams including finance, legal,
compliance and investor relations (IR);
- Lead meetings and debrief the finance and IR teams as it pertains to new and ongoing
investor inquiries;
- Liaise directly with our investors front and back offices; demonstrate ability to adapt
messaging to respective audience;
- Improve upon current processes with focus on scalability for future fundraising initiatives;
- Ad-hoc analysis and presentations on financial and operational results;
- Special projects as required;
- Lead a team of two analysts to meet key objectives and deadlines and provide
mentorship to junior staff to aid in their development.

Wage Range:
$51.28 – $66.00 per hour base salary commensurate with experience

Skill Requirements:
This position offers a unique opportunity for growth within the Infrastructure business group and wider Brookfield Asset Management organization. To qualify, candidates must have:
- Recognized professional accounting designation (CPA, CA required);
- Bachelor degree in Business Accounting required;
- Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive work experience in accounting functions;
- Exceptional ability to manage all operational aspects of multiple funds concurrently;
- In depth understanding of both US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards;
- Experience in contract management;
- Advanced financial modelling and analysis skills;
- Experience in private equity funds management;
- Experienced team leader, has managed a team;
- Strong financial systems experience, including advanced Excel;
- Superior communication skills (oral and written), presentation skills and interpersonal skills;
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability, and always takes initiative;
- Exemplifies the right motivation by aspiring to achieve collective goals;
