Job description: Our client, a fast-growing, multi-channel consumer accessories brand is looking for an ambitious, growth minded, data driven Director of Growth Marketing to join their small team. Are you looking for the next step in your eCommerce and Marketing career? Take your direct-to-consumer DTC brand growth experience to the next level with this fully remote role reporting into the US corporate office.

Responsibilities of the Director of Growth Marketing:

You will be responsible for planning and executing programs that meet and exceed multi-million-dollar sales targets through Direct-To-Consumer sales channels (website, amazon.com, etc.) but also Direct-To-Business sales channels.

  • Leadership – you will oversee and grow a small team of internal and external resources.
  • Sales/Marketing – plan, execute and optimize a variety of strategies and tactics, primarily digital, to generate awareness, engagement and sales from new and existing customers. Develop and maintain promotional calendars as well as product/style seasonal and limited edition launches to achieve objectives.
  • Site/Catalog Management – own/manage the overall UX/UI, product content (copy, images, videos, etc.) and respective data to maximize customer experience and conversion related metrics on our owned sites (Shopify Plus) and 3rd Party sites (Amazon.com, etc.)
  • Customer Loyalty – Turn customers into brand/product ambassadors.
  • Reporting & Analysis – Generate reports detailing sales and marketing performance against plans and key metrics like CAC, CR, LTV, etc. Analyze sales, customer and marketing data to make recommendations for future marketing tactics, inventory management, product development efforts, etc.
  • Develop repeatable, scalable processes – Build the foundational elements and culture for growth through continuous improvement with documented processes and learnings.

What you will bring:

  • You have 5+ impressive years of learning and mastering DTC sales & marketing and are ready to prove that you can repeat your success under your own leadership
  • You love customers and make them the center of your work universe
  • You are strategic AND hands-on
  • You can create a plan, execute that plan (with resources as needed) and then analyze it with recommendations for future
  • You have a growth mindset and like to test & learn
  • You have managed a multi-million marketing budget including media and resource spend
  • You have experience with various forms of marketing with deep knowledge of how to plan, execute and scale social media (paid, organic) influencer marketing and SMS
  • You have experience overseeing branding & creative development
  • You have experience working with various eCommerce and Marketing technologies, i.e. Shopify, Klayvio, Google Analytics, etc.
  • You lead by example and aren’ t afraid to challenge and say no, while recognizing we’ re all still learning
