Job description: The Director of Construction will be responsible for: * Overseeing a portfolio of multiple high rise residential construction projects * Establishing project budget, schedule, scopes of work and projects teams * Production of regular project reports and metrics * Leading site-based meetings and inspections with trade partners * Ensuring best practice in terms of H&S and company policies are upheld at all times * Providing leadership and career developments opportunities for your team of PMs/APMs, Estimators and Site Supers MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, marital status, or based on an individual’s status in any group or class otherwise protected under applicable human rights legislation. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled and all other qualified applicants The successful Director of Construction will have: * Previous experience leading construction teams for a High Rise Developer-Builder / General Contractor * Experience overseeing projects from Preconstruction through to closeout * Excellent leadership and communication ability * A Degree/Diploma in a relevant construction discipline is favorable An established GTA Developer-builder with a range of Condo projects under construction and a significant volume of units in development.
