Job description: As the Director of Product Marketing at Simply Ejibola Inc. you will be required to take a comprehensive approach to marketing and communicating Simply Ejibola products to independent retailers that carry stationary products across Canada. In this position you will become immersed in the many facets of the organization’s marketing and distribution operations whilst carrying a project from start to finish and demonstrating your keen sales and marketing skills. We believe we have created the best eye-catching stationary line in Canada and our small but mighty team are working hard every day to get this product into the stores of retailers that carry stationary items. As Director of Product Marketing, you would be responsible for creating and managing our online marketing campaigns, print campaigns, emails campaigns, general communications, product sales in order to build our brand and ultimately increase retail stores sales.

Responsibilities

• University or College student in a related field (business, marketing, advertising or communication)
• Support retailers wholesale advertising campaigns including research, setup, monitoring and reporting
• Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing, with digital marketing expertise in social media, SEO, SEM, and email marketing
• Proven track record of overseeing projects and deliverables that have driven company brands forward in sales revenue
• Excellent writing skills that include an ability to create clear and compelling content
• Top-notch social media design knowledge and skills; mastery of Canva is an asset
• Proven ability to take initiative to bring creative ideas to the table in order to ensure product sales success with limited management/direction
• A strong desire to grow in your career and to be an integral part of an industry-leading company
• Coordinate delivery of sales and marketing materials with external vendors
• Keep website content up to date, developing new content (landing pages) when required
• A fun, positive and friendly personality! This is a MUST for our team.

Design/Creative Duties

• Establish and maintain a consistent photographic style for products and services
• Assist with brand guideline development
• Develop videos and images that showcase the brand, products, and services
• Design print and web content as required for advertisements, web content, internal presentations, sales presentations, events, or other marketing communications
• Help define, maintain, and enforce the overall brand
