Job title: Distribution & Logistics Manager
Job description: On behalf of our client, a leader in their industry, is searching for a Distribution & Logistics Manager for a position located in the Greater Vancouver Area.
Salary: up to 100K+
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team to meet distribution goals and objectives by delegating tasks and allocating workload
- Work under pressure to fulfill quick turnaround orders, requests and demands
- Coordinate and facilitate different shipments
- Improve performance of the overall warehouse
- Assist with hiring, training and coaching new hires in the Warehouse
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives when possible
- Work closely with Senior Leadership team to achieve business objectives and support growth
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of relevant experience managing warehousing & distribution at the national level
- Strong Distribution Centre background
- People leadership experience is a must
- Manufacturing industry experience is a must
- Unionized experience is a bonus
- Strong communication & collaboration skills
- Continuous improvement mindset
