Salary Range: £20,493 – £21,748 pro-rata, per annum (actual salary £13,590 – £14,625 per annum)
Work Location: Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service HQ, Eastleigh
Hours per week: 29 (to be worked over 4 days)
Contract Type: Temporary until 31 October 2022 (Term-Time Only)

We’re pleased to offer an exciting opportunity to join the Children and Young People Team on a temporary contract to deliver an Education Programme to all key stages in schools across Hampshire. There is on the job training and an education teaching programme to follow.
The post holder must have experience of working with children and young people and be able to work on their own initiative in an engaging and imaginative way to promote a high-quality delivery.
As an Education Officer, you’ll be delivering key fire safety messages in schools, and you’ll be responsible for confirming all your own visits and must be able to demonstrate good planning, organisation, and time management skills. Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate confidently and effectively are important.
The post is a temporary, term time only contract (40 weeks of the year until 31 October 2022) and the post holder must hold a full driving licence.
