Who – the Company:

Our client is non-for-profit that that represents more than 4,000 professionals within the environmental industry. They offer training programs and growth opportunities to make a competent and sustainable workforce in the water sector, creating a strong network of water practitioners, and fostering leadership and innovation within the water community.

What – the Role:

The Education Specialist will be responsible for account management, relationship development, event planning, and course materials/ instructor’s coordination. This position is also responsible for educational program implementation and will be the online support to the virtual classroom for these courses. The ideal candidate is a customer-focused and proactive individual who enjoys being a relations-builder.

Who – the Candidate:

We are seeking an Education Specialist with at least 2 years of experience in related educational roles. You must have strong customer services skills and interest in business development and account management, along with technical ability. You must be proficient with online and virtual course curriculum management and delivery tools and software. Strong skills in Articulate are an asset.

The ideal candidate will enjoy building relationships with internal and external stakeholders and works well in collaborative environments. Solid time and project management skills are very important for this role.

Where:

Burnaby. However, this is a remote role.
