Purpose:
Project Delivery Systems Specialist with strong expertise in various 2D/3D Engineering Software like AVEVA E3D, Intergraph Smart 3D (S3D), AutoCAD, MicroStation. Supporting all projects within Canada east offices and will report to the location Project Delivery System Manager.
Responsibilities:
Project Implementation
- Participate in project discussions, investigate and understand project requirements, and take the lead with the development and adherence to the Project Information Management Plan. Revise the plan as needed when changes occur that affect the use of AVEVA E3D and related activities.
- Set up and configure projects and users in AVEVA E3D and related systems.
- Maintain a strong working relationship and rapport with projects to ensure objectives are being met and solutions applied are effective.
Project and User Support
- Setup/Support/Manage/Configuration of AVEVA E3D and other Project Delivery Systems e.g. Hexagon, Autodesk, Bentley etc. as per Project specification & Client requirements.
- Proactively seek out ways to help projects and users to maximize efficiency using design systems.
- Monitor the use of applications to ensure compliance with global standards and that each function’s activities support the next, and ultimately support the required and effective use.
- Perform system health checks throughout the project lifecycle and close out projects with lessons learned.
- Practical knowledge of PML, .NET, C# programming language, Automation and SQL
Qualifications
What You Will Bring
- 5+ years’ experience with CAD systems setup, support, usage, administration, configuration, automation and integration.
- 3+ years’ experience with AVEVA E3D systems usage, support, administration, configuration, automation and integration.
- Comprehensive understanding of 3D plant design principles.
- Familiarity with setup for workshare environment as Host and satellite
- Creation and Maintenance Pipe specs and Catalogues
- Reference Data activities – Bulk load, Synchronize Model with Catalog, etc.
- Setup and Customization of Various reports required as per Job requirement.
- Drawing Manger Setup as per job requirement
- Setup Isometric Environment as per job requirement and relevant Troubleshooting.
- Handle Clash Management and Review
- Strong overall understanding of project requirements, deliverables, and workflows.
- Ability to effectively deliver presentations to both internal and external stakeholders.
Industry Specific Experience:
- 5+ years of relevant mechanical and piping engineering experience; preferably using AVEVA E3D or equivalent.
- Familiar with Piping and C&S standards.
- Experience on Mining, Refineries, Chemical and Power project Execution
Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
- A recognized degree or equivalent qualification/experience.
HSE Capability:
- Demonstrate behavior and business practices commensurate with a culture of world’s best health, safety, and environmental performance.
IT Skills:
- Proficient in MS Office, SQL and CAD applications.
- General knowledge of systems (operating systems, software installation, user access and configurations).
People Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, detail oriented, self-motivated, and efficient.Ability to apply intelligence and knowledge to problem solving and meet deadlines.
