Job Description & Summary A career in our Enterprise Performance Management practice, within Finance Consulting services, will provide the opportunity to work alongside CEOs, CFOs, controllers and treasurers to optimise the structure of their finance functions and improve their contribution to the business. We support our clients by addressing the challenges of achieving appropriate standards of control, efficient back office opportunities and support to the business through insight and challenge.

Our team helps clients optimise and align financial planning, consolidation, reporting and analytics processes, systems and information to provide business insights that drive better decisions and actions.

What you’ll create and do

As a Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

Team with PwC colleagues in other lines of services in support of client needs for Finance Consulting services

Participate in and support aspects of the proposal development and writing processes

Assist in the delivery of Finance Transformation engagements, including

Finance technology enablement for Planning and Budgeting or Financial Consolidation tool implementations

Financial process analysis, design and implementation

Performance management optimization (i.e. reporting and analytics, planning, budgeting & forecasting, etc.)

Prepare, review and ensure engagement deliverables meet PwC and client quality expectations

Develop new skills outside of comfort zone

Act to resolve issues which prevent the team working effectively

Coach others, recognise their strengths, and encourage them to take ownership of their personal development

Uphold the firm’s code of ethics and business conduct

What you’ll bring to this role

A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences, developing and coaching diverse teams, and ensuring diverse perspectives are heard

A considerable amount of professional Enterprise Performance Management experience

Consulting experience is an asset

Over 5 years of hands on Experience with Enterprise Performance Management implementation initiatives and projects (e.g. Oracle EPM, Anaplan, OneStream or Adaptive Insights) is mandatory

Certification in EPM tools is an asset

Had completed at least 3 full cycle implementations and have a deep understanding of implementation methodologies (requirements, design, build, testing and deployment)

Understanding of financial applications (i.e. GL, consolidation systems and Business Intelligence systems)

Working expertise or strong understanding in many, if not all, of the core Accounting areas:

Performance Management – Financial Consolidation, management reporting, planning, budgeting & forecasting, analytics & decision support

Record-to-Report – financial close, consolidation, financial reporting, Fixed Assets, Inventory, Payroll

Experience in process improvement or re-engineering initiatives and projects in the core back office accounting areas (see above) in either a consultant or internal role

Demonstrated project management skills

Excellent written and communications skills
