This role provides an exciting opportunity to play a key role in this rapidly growing area of the business for Arterra Wines Canada. In this role you will oversee the P&L for the digital business streams from Sales to EBIT as well as manage a sizable capital budget. The successful candidate will own the monthly business process and management reporting with Senior Leadership.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and lead the financial reporting and forecasting function for all Arterra Wines Canada Digital business areas. Ensure accurate reporting, forecasting and analysis with a large focus on risk management and scenario analysis as well as assistance with deep-dive analysis into a diverse range of issues.
  • Own the digital business cases for various e-commerce streams, including sizing of emerging opportunities from a value proposition perspective.
  • Develop and implement dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics
  • Drive valuable insights through ad hoc analysis on investment decisions, new e-commerce channels and business ideas.
  • A successful applicant will be forward thinking with the ability to take initiative and ownership to create and improve process efficiencies, by identifying opportunities and partnering with key stakeholders within the business.

Role Requirements:

  • University degree in Business, Analytics or Finance, ideal candidate will also possess an Accounting designation (CPA) or MBA
  • 4-6 years of deep industry experience within a Consumer-Packaged Goods and/or Retail environment
  • Superior analytical skills with the ability to drive useful business insights, ability to think outside the box
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, ideal candidate will also have exposure / competency using analytics tools such as Hyperion and Power BI
