Job description: We are seeking a Finance Manager, Extended Care Sales Quota to join our team in Richmond, VA.

Position Description

This will be a financial partner to senior business leaders and their teams by supporting finance processes including the planning, forecasting, analysis, and goal setting of sales rep compensation. In this role excellence, accuracy, and attention to detail are critical. The role will offer financial expertise, display intellectual curiosity, continuously improve processes and models, and make recommendations that drive financial improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver monthly reporting, financial presentations, variance analysis, and commentary to business leaders on compensation and selling expense
  • Leverage financial systems capabilities in reporting & analytics
  • Collaborate with business partners and finance teams to improve accuracy of financial forecast
  • Identify inefficiencies and waste in operating expenses and recommend changes to improve business profitability
  • Develop partnerships across multiple levels of the organization
  • Act as liaison to shared service team and assist with analysis of selling expenses as needed
  • Assist with other ad-hoc analytics, projects, and requests

Minimum Requirements
5+ years accounting, finance, finance analytics or similar experience

Critical Skills

  • 5+ years financial analysis
  • 1+ year creating presentations for all leadership levels
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Attention to detail, accuracy, reconciling data
  • Demonstrates innate sense of curiosity
  • Ability to work on and prioritize multiple tasks, competing priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with presentations to leadership
  • Ability to influence stakeholders to make business decisions
  • Collaborate with other teams both within and outside of finance to resolve issues and determine viable solutions for change
  • Experience with Hyperion Planning and SmartView a plus

Education
MBA preferred in finance or related field or equivalent experience
