The Opportunity:

As a Finance/Commissions Specialist you will play an integral role in the day-to-day operation of the company’s finance operations department. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for full cycle payroll processing including analysis and reconciliation. As well as interacting with various internal and external business units.

Your impact, 90 days and beyond:

  • Full ownership of assigned account reconciliations with deep understanding of underlying transactions and ending balances change drivers
  • Act as key finance liaison with payroll and accounting at parent company supporting them in accurate and timely completion of accounting/finance activities
  • Provide inputs to payroll team on a timely basis
  • Comply with internal controls, accounting policies and other financial policies
  • Complete full cycle biweekly payroll processing for commission, salary and hourly employees (200+ employees bi-weekly)
  • Support HR metrics reporting provided to Executives, Management, and various functional areas
  • Participate in special projects and performs other related duties as assigned
  • Update scheduled reports and provide data analysis upon request

Requirements

  • A post secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration or Economics
  • 3 – 5+ years experience in accounting/finance
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive employee personnel files
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skils

Nice to have:

  • Previous payroll and/or compensation experience
  • Knowledge of Salesforce and Zuora systems
