Job title: General Labour – Hotel Maintenance
Job description: The General Labour – Hotel Maintenance will support the Maintenance Manager to provide a comfortable and safe guest environment by maintaining equipment and property environment, completing preventive maintenance requirements, responding to emergencies, and accommodating guests to ensure satisfaction.

YOU WOULD HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
- Ensure the Hotel property is clean, and all amenities are functioning properly
- Ensure fire safety materials and equipment are accessible and fully functioning
- Outdoor maintenance of the property, ensuring cleanliness and upkeep for guest appeal and safety
- Indoor maintenance of the property including but not limited to: painting, minor plumbing fixes, bulb and battery changes within guest spaces
- Assisting in snow removal during the winter months
- Assisting the hotel team with preventative tasks including daily room inspections
- Assisting with set up and tear down for special events
- Ladder work within the property including cleaning of high fixtures
- Equipment routine maintenance and cleaning in guest and kitchen areas
- Assist team in unloading the deliveries
- Participate in safety discussions with the team and ensure priority areas are addressed quickly
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid G Driver’s License
- Basic painting skills
- Experience with hand tools
- Comfortable working at heights
- Results oriented and self-motivated
- Team player
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
- There will be a combination of weekday and weekend shifts.
