Job description: Position: Hospital Security Screeners

Schedule: 6pm to 6am Continental Rotation based shifts

Hourly pay rate: $14.55 + $6 (Premium due to covid-19)

Location: 711 Concession St, Hamilton, ON

You can help make hospitals a safer place for kids, families and staff. We are currently hiring 2 Full time Security Guards for an assignment within the health care environment. The hours will be 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. on a continental rotation basis. Due to Covid, there is a premium rate of $6, but after that it will be $14.55/hour.

What you’ll be doing

• Greeting and checking all patients and guests by asking preset COVID-19 screening questions and recording all answers
• Ensure that both patients and guests are wearing masks when entering
• Patrol inside and outside the hospital to ensure the safety of people and property and the maintenance of order
• Enforce safety procedures and standards
• Report any abnormality, defect, risk of fire, accident, theft and/or other abnormal situations to the immediate supervisor and put in place the necessary safety features
• Write daily reports and incident reports
