Aramark is currently recruiting for an Hotel Services Manager to join our team in Colington Road, Edinburgh, EH13 0PP. This is a full time, permanent role working 40 hours per week. Salary will be £20,000 – £24,000 per annum depending on experience. This role will report directly into the Group Manager.

The key purpose of the role is change-management – the dynamic of the contract has shifted and we are looking for the right professional to engage with all stakeholders to ensure optimum delivery of customer services, client satisfaction, team empowerment and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance to ARAMARK and client policies and procedures – including, where appropriate, the Aramark Target Operating Model (TOM) – through audit, performance-monitoring and people development
• Take action to follow ARAMARK policy requirements
• Manage relationship with PMC and mess members and visitors: specifically Hestia deliverables and Mess expectations, with consequent sales growth
• Deliver five-star event and function experiences to key military and related client base: to establish excellence in front-of-house operations
• Manage innovative and agile service solutions for a diverse existing and new client customer base.
• Overall ownership and accountability of operational management and financial performance of the messes and accommodation activities
• Key Relationships:

• Direct all unit activities towards meeting ARAMARK and client objectives
• To ensure that the highest standard of food quality, presentation and food and FM services are achieved and maintained at all times
• To allocate accountabilities and responsibilities to staff as required
• Identify and plan for the needs of the client

Key Requirements

• At least three years track record at a comparative management level, or transferable skills and experience.
• A passion for excellence coupled with high drive and energy
• Strong commercial skills, ability to identify opportunities to drive revenues
• Excellent people management skills
• Flexibility and ability to work on own initiative
• Professionalism and the ability to communicate at all levels of the business
• Hands on operator with the ability to lead by example through operational excellence
• Experience in the relevant line of business environment
• A track record of success and personal development
• Full driving licence.
