THE PROJECT

This position is for the Côté Project, in Gogama, ON. We are working hard to transform the camp experience and create a warm, welcoming environment and a steakhouse vibe in the dining facility. The camp is expected to grow to over 1200 beds during peak construction. We are looking for energetic, reliable, trustworthy, and passionate individuals to join our team and make our project successful.

Job Description

Housekeepers are a vital asset to our team and play an integral role in ensuring the cleanliness of rooms and dorms throughout the camp. Housekeepers work with the Camp Manager and Camp Coordinator to follow the company standards for quality and dorm cleanliness.

• Daily housekeeping of dorm rooms
• Cleaning of washrooms and common areas
• Washing and folding laundry
• Adhering to camp cleaning schedules
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous hotel or camp experience an asset
• Previous housekeeping experience an asset
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Climb ladders or stairs.
• Stand, walk, squat, kneel or sit according to task for extended lengths of time.
• Perform repetitive hand work requiring full use of both hands.
• Work with arms above shoulder height.

Additional Information

Housekeepers work on a rotational schedule.

Wage is $18.18 per hour.
