The Indigenous Internship Program provides developmental roles designed to equip new graduates or individuals seeking entry level positions with a foundation for a career in banking or corporate management. This internship role focuses on developing key business skills with, with the goal to increase experience, autonomy and complexity over the course of a 12 month learning program. The intern will partner with experienced professionals in the business supporting the day-to-day operations of the business, as an integral member of the team they are joining. We will have roles available in a wide range of business and corporate areas, including banking, human resources, communications, regulatory, strategy and operations.
Interns will have the support of great mentors and advocates, opportunities for formal learning within our Teal Academy, and can be members of The Sharing Circle, our employee resource group for Indigenous employees and allies.
What you will learn, action & contribute

Resolve request and incident tickets related to the onboarding and offboarding of employees and contractors, maintenance of user attributes, assignment of role-based access to resources, and application access provisioning
Support technologies and processes for enhanced authentication mechanisms including but not limited to: Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Single Sign-On (SSO) and User Provisioning
Monitor the Identity & Access Management (IAM) platform, the automated provisioning workflows, the integrated directories and applications to ensure optimal performance
Author reports and provide metrics to communicate the operational status of the IAM technologies and processes to the Manager and the Chief Information Security Officer
Ongoing research to stay informed of industry cyber security threats, trends, and development

Foundational knowledge and experience to grow from
Post-secondary education in: business, IT, or equivalent experience
Work experience linked to the specific role, or strong transferrable skills that would complement the role
Basic experience with technology, including Microsoft Suite of tools and working remotely (with connection through video chat), is a must, and experience with other role-dependent technology is an asset
Professional experience in customer service, financial services, or a corporate environment an asset, but not required
