Job description: Industrial Engineering Tech – this role is a 15 month assignment

The purpose of this role is to identify opportunities throughout the site and implement lean solutions to reduce waste, improve yield, and increase TRS while maximizing productivity, labor and equipment utilization. Communicate and own reporting of site metrics to site, corporate, and global level associates.

What are we looking for?

• University degree or equivalence
• 1+ years of experience in Manufacturing
• Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma or 5 S Principals
• Food Manufacturing experience and knowledge of food safety
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices
• Knowledge of Lean tools (5S, SMED, Kaizen)

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Conduct and coordinate time studies and analysis to identify and quantify opportunities or shortfalls in the value stream and/or direct cost financial performance.
• Provide analysis and data on bottleneck capacity for each process function for evaluation of potential capacity constraints.
• Perform a key role in the team process of setting line performance standards; e.g., KPI’s (ATS, TRS, MTBS) and line capacity impacting short and long term delivery of safety, quality, customer service, and cost deliverables.
• Conduct and coordinate studies and analysis to identify and quantify process and product quality and/or capacity constraints and opportunities to increase throughput.
• This position and all site associates are responsible for quality and food safety of products at the site.
• Drive the Focused Improvement Pillar forward through the Supply Excellence Program.
