Job description: We are currently looking for an Information Technology Security Specialist to join a large fast-growing dynamic company in downtown Montreal on a permanent basis with full benefits and advancement opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Build & maintain company’s security systems
• Configure & Improve existing Security systems

• EDR platform
• Analyze firewall rules
• Improve Web Proxy and DLP rule set
• Managing MS security systems
• Run periodical vulnerability scanning, validate findings and prioritize patching with IT
• Assist with responding to incident alerts
• Explore new options for enhancing the security level
• Any other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Hands-on experience with security systems (EDR, proxy, waf, IPS)
• Good knowledge of networking security, specifically with Firewall rules
• Familiar with MS security systems and features
• Excellent interpersonal attributes and collaboration skills
• Must be organized, goal-oriented, self-starter and keen on documentation
• ability to establish excellent working relationships with other departments
• Good understanding of security risk concepts
• English (written and spoken) is required
• Basic knowledge of French
