Job description: Our client is a boutique commercial real estate firm based in downtown Toronto. Offering a variety of services, they have worked with tenants in office spaces, retail, industrial as well as the development industry. They have a strong, collaborative team of professionals and are now looking to add a Business Development Representative to their firm! This is an amazing opportunity to learn the ropes of the commercial real estate industry and grow in your career.
About the Role – Account Executive
- 100% focused on business development
- Strategically prospecting new client relationships through research, emailing, and cold calls
- Selling directly into C-Level executives
- Selling to executives in the retail, industrial, office, and development industries
- Using a consultative sales approach
- Based out of the Downtown Toronto office
- Opportunity to meet face-to-face with your clients
- Reporting into the VP
About You:
- Interest/ passion in real estate and ideally have your license, or are actively pursuing it
- Experience in the B2B market is preferred, B2C sales or residential real estate experience are also acceptable (6-12 months+ experience)
- You understand the value of achieving and exceeding sales targets and have a proven track record of success
- Independent and self-motivated; you must be comfortable working autonomously
- You understand the importance of servicing a client and building a strong relationship
- Driven, hungry and resilient with a competitive nature and strong work ethic
- Not afraid to pick up a phone and cold call
- Punctual
- College/University degree
- Strong communicator with great phone presence
- Coachable and good at thinking on your feet
