Job title: Inside Sales Executive

Job description: Are you an experienced Inside Sales Executive / Account Manager / Customer Service Representative with the ability to engage customers on the phone and build long lasting relationships? We’re a multinational business dedicated to help clients achieve their electrical component and equipment supply chain goals. Together, we could make the perfect team.

BASIC SALARY: up to £25,000

BENEFITS:
· Up to £250 per month commission, but uncapped!
· 20 days holiday rising with service
· Pension

LOCATION: Sheffield

COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Rotherham, Barnsley, Chesterfield, Worksop, Doncaster, Wakefield

Why this role?

· NO KPI’s! … You will have the autonomy to support your key customers the best way possible, not because a KPI tells you to do it.
· NO COLD CALLING! … You’ll be taking over and growing a range of existing key accounts so your time will be split 80% Account Management and 20% New Business.
· We might be a large company (which is fantastic for promotions) but we have a family feel and a great working environment.

Think of this role as your own business. You’ll be supporting existing key customers – identifying their electrical component and equipment supply chain needs, completing quotations and generally delivering the highest possible level of customer service – and working with our Business Development Manager’s to find and open new accounts.

It’ll be your task to manage your approx 10-20 key accounts by:

· Providing a pro-active added value service offering solutions / products / services and support
· Build effective working relationships with the decision makers in each account including: Buyers, Project Managers, Supply Chain Managers.
· Ensure the client is aware of ALL of our services by cross-selling and up-selling our full product mix.

Ultimately, you’ll develop and implement account growth strategies for each client, analysing their requirements and implementing an action plan to achieve your targets.

To be successful in this role you MUST have previous sales or customer service experience, ideally from industrial / electrical components, technology, supply chain or aerospace sector and:

· Be able to show a demonstrable sales track record.
· Be a great communicator both verbally and in writing and show your ability to influence.
· Demonstrate the energy and drive to succeed through the use of your own initiative.
· Show how you put the customer first to achieve a positive outcome for all parties.

Above all you’ll demonstrate the characteristics we value – motivated, honest, ambitious, quick to learn.

It is highly likely you will have worked in any of the following roles and/or markets, and worked with the following products and/or services: Inside Sales, Telesales, Internal Sales, Account Manager, Customer Service, Automation, Supply Chain, Technology, Electrical / Electronic Components, Equipment.
