Responsible for providing financial support in order to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations.

Perform primary accounting functions in accordance with clearly defined procedures

Provide professional, proficient service to external and internal customers.

Prepare correspondence via email or letter

Verify accuracy of accounts, reconcile and investigate discrepancies

Perform tasks based on provided training, reference documentation, and standard processes

Determine financial valuations using manuals, tariffs, or other sources for pricing/investigation

Identify procedure/process deviations for review

Initiate primary/intermediate communication to investigate missing or incorrect data or documents

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years office experience

Degree in progress in Accounting, Finance or related field an asset

Strong communication skills both written and verbal

Strong customer service skills

Ability to not just multitask but to also anticipate process before directed to do so

Ability to run reports, analyze data and prepare spreadsheets

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Ability to prioritize duties and use good judgement

Bilingual an asset
