Our expectations :
The Analyst, Inventory is in charge of analyzing major inventory discrepancies, explaining their causes, and recommending necessary corrective actions. The incumbent will also manage the space in the Company’s distribution centre (product location) so as to maximize efficiency. Additionally, they will be in charge of analyzing certain continuous improvement and operational optimization projects.
Your role :
- Analyze major inventory discrepancies between SIDMA, EXCEED, and all other systems used by business partners and analyze in-stock inventories
- Monitor inventory movements and make corrections if required
- Address item-level investigation requests made by internal and external customers
- Take part in various continuous improvement projects
- If required, prepare and provide inventory reports with Excel
- Perform any other related tasks assigned by the Supervisor, Inventory
### Job Requirements
The qualifications we are looking for :
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position
- College degree in logistics or equivalent professional experience
- Experience working in a high-velocity distribution centre environment (an asset)
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills combined with thorough follow-up potential
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to use inventory management information systems
- Familiarity with Excel, Word, and Access
- Functional knowledge of French and English (spoken and written)
