IT Project Manager – Fenergo Platform
Context:
Our client requires a seasoned Project Manager that brings SME experience in implementing the Fenergo platform or running and/or delivering other vendor end to end CLM technology platforms. This individual will have extensive knowledge of what a target end to end KYC/Client Life Cycle future state should look like. The individual will need to be able to examine what the client has implemented currently, assess what processes, procedures and technologies are optimal, propose and implement what needs to be enhanced/built in order to deliver the business benefits.
Typical Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Capital Markets business and operations partners to define strategy and requirements for client lifecycle management and analytics technology solutions; coordinate across all LOBs and Product Owners to identify synergies and share best practices / ideas supporting a horizontal approach
- Liaise with business stakeholders to understand their needs and across all LOBs and regions to define the client lifecycle management and analytics tech strategy, identifying synergies, sharing best practices & idea in support of a horizontal approach
- Capture business requirements and ensure technology product roadmap is aligned to business strategic priorities
- Oversee technology product delivery and ensure that it meets business expectations
- Coordinate roll-out and adoption; define success criteria; and obtain feedback post roll-out; understand how users are interacting with the product and address any adoption challenges
- Coordinate with Change Management team to ensure new functionalities are communicated to business users in a timely basis
- Manage business expectations; push back as needed to ensure projects align with planned priorities and work is properly funded and resourced
- Coordinate and drive consistent business priority meetings; to define the book of work with clearly defined success criteria
- Collaborate with product owners and the business to drive training and adoption; provide updates and usage stats to business sponsors
- Collaborate with Capital Markets business and operations partners to understand business problems, priorities and business impact
- Prioritize work for business impact, push back on business if scope of work does not fit planned priorities or work effort does not justify business impact
- Accurately document processes and detailed business requirements; present use cases that capture critical functionalities
- Suggest tactical and strategic approaches to solving business problems; ensure business has signed off on requirements to prevent scope creep
- Ensure architecture and development teams understand business problems and requirements; work with UI/UX teams to ensure a streamlined user experience
- Support and participate in user acceptance and PIV testing
- Assist with training and roll-out
- Proactively follow up with users to ensure they are aware and understand functionalities and capabilities; and obtain feedback post roll-out
- Work with business and developers to make additional changes / enhancements as needed
- Create presentations that define client lifecycle management and analytics strategies and solutions and present to the business
- Prioritize work based on business impact and ensure work is aligned with planned priorities and all work is logged in appropriate tracking systems (Workfront, BOW Trackers, JIRA).
- Manage business expectations; proactively escalate roadblocks and delays to Product Owner, Head of Business Architecture, and business stakeholders in a timely manner
Required Experience
- Proven capabilities in effective management of tasks, multi-tasking, and strong analytical skills
- Strong & effective communication skills; ability to tailor approach based on audience (users, business, management, developers)
- Ability to work in a remote environment with colleagues located across different regions and time zones
- Strong problem solving skills, ability to analyze complex situations and problems, engage the right stakeholders, and perform the needed analysis and research to arrive at innovative solutions
- Experience with project delivery methods (waterfall, agile, scrum)
- Industry experience of Capital Markets with background in: Client Onboarding & KYC, Client Data Management & Strategy, Client Analytics & Insights, Client Relationship Management (CRM)
- Experience with working with Capital Markets front-office personnel – sales, trading, banking
