Responsibilities

• Work with business and IT stakeholders to scope out projects including functional and technical deliverables, cost estimates, resources, and identification of benefits
• Prepare project scope documents and charters to initiate IT projects
• Prepare project plans and schedules
• Lead project teams to ensure the project meets its quality, schedule and budget objectives
• Facilitate Steering Committee meetings
• Conduct risk management assessments and plans
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
• Maintain project scope and raise change requests as necessary
• Conduct post-implementation debriefs to identify recommendations for continuous improvement
• Participate in continuous improvement activities for the IT department and PMO team

Top Skills Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in a business or technology related field
• 6+ years’ experience in a Project Manager role having managed small and large-scale projects
• Experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment
• Solid experience working with Business Intelligence projects and tools such as Cognos/Tableau/Power BI/ Qlik sense/ Qlik view or Snowflake
• Experience with vendor selection and COTS implementation
• Familiar with cloud, client/server and relational database concepts
• Understanding of SDLC
• Strong skills in Excel, Word, MS Project and MS Visio
• PMP certification is desired
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
