Job title: IT Supervisor – ERP & SQL Administration

Job description: We are seeking an experienced IT Supervisor – ERP & SQL Administration. The right candidate will act as a supervisor for the tenure of a maternity leave of the current IT/IS Supervisor. Following the return of the IT/IS Supervisor, the role will transfer to being dedicated Senior ERP Analyst position.

As Garibaldi is an architectural glass fabricator, this role offers a hybrid work model between remote, office and our manufacturing plant. Manufacturing experience provides a definite advantage to this position! This role is a perfect opportunity for someone who is not afraid to take on a challenge and considers themselves a self-started and a leader. The role will be reporting to the Director of IT/IS in the absence of the IT/IS Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

You will do more than just sit behind a desk and run reports; you will help drive change and efficiency throughout our production plant and office. As a key resource to all members of the IT/IS team, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining current SSRS Reports and creating new ones, ensuring reporting standards are followed.
  • Implementing ERP configuration.
  • Writing Complex SQL Queries, Stored Procedures, and Thorough Testing.
  • Creating or Maintaining Documentation.
  • Help Desk tickets Management amd server performance monitoring.
  • Ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Maintaining high standards for quality and customer satisfaction.
  • While covering maternity leave – training, cross-training, technical Mentoring to IT/IS team members and their supervision.

Qualifications (Education, Experience, Training)

  • Technical Diploma or bachelor’s degree (i.e., BCIT Business IT/IS, Operations Management Program)
  • Strong working experience with ERP Software (Fenevision is considered a strong asset).
  • 5+ years of SQL Administration experience.
  • 2+ years development experience in Visual Basic.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Working knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL databases.
  • Strong pro-costumer orientation.
  • Strong command in English and ability to establish effective and trusting working relationships.
  • Strong analytical mind and decision making combined with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • SharePoint experience is considered an asset
