Job description: CGI is looking for a Senior Analytics and Data Architecture Consultant for its expanding team in Saskatchewan to help our customers on their digital transformation and analytics journey.
This position is ideal for someone who is looking to take on a leadership role in delivering complex IT solutions to provincial and municipal governments, and commercial clients.
We help our customers with many different types of projects covering a variety of different business scenarios including business intelligence, document and records management, customer relationship management, asset management, and enterprise resource planning. Our Analytics and Data Architecture architects have the skills to apply data architecture principles to different situations and be able to build close relationships with both client teams and CGI members.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
– Create documents and diagrams needed to implement the solution, and map systems and interfaces used to manage data and support data visualization
– Understand and articulate customer data requirements in a form consumable by other members of the technical team
– Help drive innovation by understanding clients’ data governance and data management processes and provide meaningful recommendations on how these processes could be improved
– Demonstrate a breadth of understanding established and emerging data and analytic technologies
– Leverage your understanding of software development life cycles and the role of data analytics architecture within them
– Understand and work with requirements, design, and test techniques
– Provide guidance to application development and integration projects and therefore must understand where, when and how to intervene effectively in the project lifecycle
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
The ideal person for this role has over 4 years of experience in data analytics/architecture working with stakeholders and technical teams to set data analytics/architecture principles, model data transformations to enable the implementation of the intended business architecture and analytics requirements.
