Employer Descriptions:

We are looking for a Land Administration Lead to join us in the exciting work we do in Asset Optimization Department. Reporting to the Manager, Commercial Operations, it’ll be your responsibility to lead the Land Administration function, including the administration of land and mineral agreements, acquisitions, and dispositions in support of the Company’s operations and growth initiatives. In this position, you also get to be responsible for administration of work assignments and managing workflow

  • Lead overall administration of 3rd party agreements, such as crossing agreements, proximity agreements, surface lease agreements, mineral title, road use and working interest partner contracts.
  • Ensure ongoing contractual obligations, lease renewals, cancellations and reclamations are met.
  • Effectively coordinate all aspects of surface/mineral rights acquisition and disposition, including land package preparation and managing 3rd party land agencies as required.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal groups, 3rd parties, landowners, working interest partners, regulators and crown agencies.
  • Ensure mineral, surface and contract leases are recorded accurately and documented in land database system CS Land.
  • Administer all land and mineral agreement billing/invoicing with direct interface to accounting.

Who You Are:

  • Minimum of a college Diploma
  • Minimum of 10 years related experience
  • Petroleum Land Administration Certificate would be required
  • Commissioner for Oaths appointment would be an asset.
  • Proven leadership, supervisory, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills – both oral and written.
  • Excellent organizational, and workload management.
  • Excellent analytical, decision making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to excel in a high paced working environment.
