Job description: The Regent Hotel is currently recruiting a full-time Laundry Attendant to join our team. We are looking for individuals that take pride in their work and have a good eye for detail. The Cleanliness of our facility is important to us and having someone who can meet our cleaning standards is of high priority. Laundry Attendants are responsible for helping with stripping beds, tidying up hallways and organizing and transporting linens to the laundry areas. Work responsibilities involve physical duties such as cleaning, vacuuming and lifting and loading laundry into large washers and dryers., as well as standing on your feet a large part of the work shift. We are looking for a team player who is flexible and willing to work weekends and holidays. Afternoon shifts 3-11 pm.
Responsiblities include:
- Helping Housekeeping team strip bed linens when needed
- Restocking storage areas & housekeeping carts
- Ensuring that standards & procedures are applied
- Attention to detail; working carefully within the minimum time
- Ensuring cleanliness and proper stain removal procedures of linens
- Working as a team to clean public areas
- Discretion; not disturbing our guests
Experience preferred, however complete training is available.
