Position Summary
Interior Health is looking for a permanent full time Lead, Identity and Access Management to join our Information Management & Information Technology (IMIT) Access team. This position is based out of the Kelowna Warehouse (Reids) in beautiful and sunny Kelowna, B.C.

About the Role

The Lead facilitates, develops, informs and executes the IH Identity and Access Management strategy with impacted stakeholder groups, IH leadership and vendors to ensure all employees, contractors, vendors and partners have the appropriate access to digital information, assets, services, and functionality to support their roles and business objectives. In collaboration with stakeholders and IH leadership, leads Identity Access Management platforms and toolsets to optimize business processes. Develops and maintains standard operating procedures to support project and sustainment processes aligning with current IH policies. Develops key metrics and provides regular reporting to demonstrate health of the service and team.

The Lead will work collaboratively at a regional and provincial level to develop strategies, policies/procedures and related processes to execute effectively in areas of responsibility considering standardization, security, user experience, cost efficiencies and innovation.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a self starter who has experience in healthcare and IT. Previous experience in identity management and associated technologies such as Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Okta, Sailpoint, Oracle Identity Management or others is a great asset.

Qualifications
Education, Training, and Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree or diploma in Computing Science, or related discipline
  • Detailed understanding of the function, process and integration of Identity and Access Management and implementing new IT technologies in a healthcare environment
  • Experience in a complex and dynamic health care environment providing support for large-scale, multi-vendor computer systems.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of applicable industry standards and best practices; and a solid understanding of issues related to Identity and Access Management in on-premises and cloud environments
  • Minimum of 5 years of technology and managerial experience in the healthcare industry including responsibilities for:

o Operation of Identity and Access Management solutions and associated processes
o planning, integration, and deployment of enterprise Identity and Access Management solutions using key principles of Authentication and Authorization systems, Identity Lifecycle Management and Identity Governance.
o authentication, authorization, roles and rules, provisioning and all other aspects of identity
o experience in project leadership and architecting identity solutions to meet diverse business needs
o staff development and supervision

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
