Job Description

What will you have to do as a Logistic Coordinator – Domestic rail shipments ?

• Plan, organize and coordinate the railcar movements for the assigned divisions:
• Railcar releases, diversions, paperwork, and notices
• Negotiate rates with the carriers to optimize the profits of the company.
• Provide different rates from various carriers to supply the demands of the traders for negotiation of sales/purchases.
• Keep track of all brokered loads.
• Make sure suppliers ship within due dates.
• Get settlements weights from customers.
• Deal with A/P & A/R for payments and balances.
• Pass all broker tickets in due time for month end.
• Review invoices in case of discrepancies.
• Deal with Customs Broker, if needed (Tariff numbers of corrections).
• Create custom invoices for inbound/outbound loads.
• Deal with FDA, EPA, CBP if need be.
• Move assets for different divisions,

Qualifications

We would be interested in meeting you if you…

• Have a diploma in logistics in the field of road transport.
• Have 2 years of experience in the field of logistics.
• Are bilingual (French and English) both spoken and in writing.
• Are available to work outside of normal working hours, as needed.
• Have knowledge of customs regulations and tariff classifications is an asset.
• Have knowledge of tariff classification is an asset.
• Have the ability to work on different computer platforms.
• Have knowledge of Excel.
• Ability to deal with stressful and continuous live events in a calm and efficient manner.
