As Logistics Analyst you will :
- Perform and present performance analyses and indicators to help with decision-making; analyze cost-effectiveness, and reduced transportation and storage costs;
- Develop tools to improve the team’s performance, and continuously improve operations for Logistics/ Transport/ Customs/ Environment (ecotaxes/SIMDUT);
- Coordinate budget preparation to ensure cost effectiveness related to Transport, Distribution, Customs, and Environment, for each site;
- Actively participate in contract negotiations for the Warehouse, Transport rates, and partnerships with Canadian, American, and overseas transporters;
- Prepare tender documents and evaluate proposals received, negotiate prices and terms of contracts and framework agreements;
- Optimize, streamline, and document the important processes, and participate in training;
- Analyze and plan Warehouse activities, in collaboration with the rest of the team.
Requirements and skills required for the position
- University degree in Administration, Logistics, International Commerce, or related field ;
- Minimum 5 years experience in International and Domestique logistics ;
- Leadership ;
- Advanced knowledge of laws and rules in Transport, Logistics, Canadian and environmental customs;
- Bilingual, French and English, written and spoken;
- Advanced Excel skills;
- Independent, good negotiations skills, organized;
- Energetic and motivated;
- Experience in Retail, an asset.
