YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with vehicle engineering teams, the Purchasing group and other teams involved in product development to propose better logistics strategies for production
  • Develop logistics strategies that are aligned with the corporate vision and implement innovative methods to continuously improve logistics processes, including packaging needs management
  • Prepare documentation to obtain project budget requirements and identify, analyze and follow up on the requirements
  • Conduct analysis to optimize costs in parts transportation, packaging, inventory management, workforce logistics and storage capacity
  • Monitor technological and strategic developments by staying abreast of industry best practices
  • Build and maintain a network of external partners to introduce new concepts at BRP

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations/logistics management or a related field
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in project management
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant and substantial experience (product development, supply chain management, manufacturing operations)
  • Advanced bilingualism, both written and spoken (English/French), Spanish an asset
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
  • Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and project management software (Smartsheet, MS Project)
  • At ease with developing presentations and with synthesizing and communicating complex ideas to a variety of audiences
  • Initiative and desire to excel, ability to work independently, well organized and thorough
  • Innovative and curious mind with an attention to detail
  • Proven leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Skilled at working in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams
  • Knowledge of modelling software (CATIA, SOLIDWORKS, etc.) an asset
  • Knowledge of SAP (WM, MM, PP) an asset
  • Able to travel
