Job description: Our client, a leading automotive supplier in Woodbridge, ON is currently seeking a Logistics Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible to provide leadership and manage a variety of general logistics activities, leading and managing full scope logistics activities, employee management and development, monitor performance of company drivers and outside contracted carriers, manage all freight forwarders daily as it relates to regional/local issues, among other duties as assigned. This is a full-time/permanent position.

Qualifications:

• Post-Secondary Education in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field
• Professional Logistics Designate preferred (P Log, CITT, SCL Diploma)
• 3+ related logistics management experience
• Proven ability to lead and train logistics team
• Previous experience in a Tier 1 automotive supplier environment a definite asset
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written

Salary: $90,000 – $115,000 per year (depending on experience and qualification)
