Job title: Logistics Manager, Beyond Beer
Job description: Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day inbound/outbound operations at the cross-dock location, focusing on both execution and strategy
Supervises and Coordinates with the operations and warehouse teams to ensure shipments meet the service level (OTIF) in a safe, qualitative and cost-effective environment
Responsible for implementing and enforcing the DPO at the cross-dock, and tracking results through the KPI dashboard and weekly reviews
Ambassador for enforcing and promoting safe working practices
Is responsible to ensure that daily loading are following inventory policies, while focusing on freshness through FEFO
Responsible for the AB-Inbev side of asset management at the cross-dock: supervises execution of cycle counts, make stock adjustments in ABInbev host system and participates in quarterly stock counts
Addresses operational topics with sense of urgency and makes sure operations are servicing internal SLA’s
Controls and manages the inputs for repacking processes for designated export activities
The individual is to Act as an Owner and is responsible for creating and maintaining any specific SOP’s for their locations that need to be created for unique processes
SPOC for operational team with the 3rd party customs/drayage broker, coordinating weekly container unload schedule and capacities
Builds operational and tactical plan based on the volume forecast to ensure proper resource allocation.
Identifies areas to improve operations by uncovering opportunities and proposing solutions, utilizing management system tool and methodologies to ensure key performance indicators and targets are achieved or exceeded
Responsible to define recovery plan when KPIs are showing gaps
Understands, owns and follow up 3PL invoices and financial closings
Point of contact for all logistics matters relating to RTD
Owner of RTD Logistics budget and any initiatives related to cost savings
Point of contact for Provincial Liquor Distribution Boards for all inventory and transportation related matters
Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor degree, preferably in Business or Supply Chain Management and 3 years prior related experience.
Overview and understanding of supply processes: transport, inventory, etc.
Experience with supply chain management
