• Back up for dispatcher when required (planning the daily routes for the trucks)
• Assist Shipping manager in daily duties
• Other duties in shipping department as assigned

Qualifications:

• MUST HAVE minimum 2 years of logistics supervisory experience
• MUST HAVE minimum 3-5 years of logistics coordination experience
• Must have managed a team of 10-15
• Must be able to delegate and dicipline subordinates as required
• Great oral and verbal communicator
• Must be well organized
• Working well under pressure
• Critical problem-solving skills is an asset
• Intermediate MS Excel
• Previous experience in Transportation, working with and managing drivers.
• Previous experience in Steel Industry is an asset
• Knowledge of Southern Ontario geography
• Must be able to work flexible day time hours
• Previous experience as dispatch will be considered
