The Logistics Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the receipt of inbound raw material and outbound finished goods including imports. Coordinate transportation and storage of materials. Performs analysis to ensure accurate shipment records. Evaluate different carriers to determine and track historic performance. Performs department budgeting and supervision of subordinate personnel. This position is responsible for Environmental Regulatory Compliance and Employee Safety, Health, and Hygiene associated with Logistics Dept. The position is also classified as a Hazardous Material handling position.

Accountabilities

Transportation Coordination – determine and schedule outgoing finished & intermediate goods.

Unit supervision of Warehouse operations

Monitor changes in customer needs and perceptions to ensure delivery exceeds customer expectations.

Information analysis and product tracking (bar code system)

Warehousing/bulk storage – determine and track product levels in a warehouse include warehouse handling equipment.

Regulated Material certification and coordination – certification to include shipment, packaging, labeling and storage of hazardous material

Ensure certificates of analysis issuance following the Syngenta guidelines

Department equipment such as forklifts, track mobile, and switching tractor.

Qualifications

Requirements

Position requires at least a high school education and three to five years of experience. Experience should include traffic coordination and supervision. Position requires the ability to travel. Requires two years to learn the position. Strong communications and exposure to marketing, planning, financial, and manufacturing. Clear, quick communications, strong organizational skills, and detail oriented. Negotiation, leadership, planning, stress management, and being a team player is also important. Must be authorized to work for Syngenta in the United States without work authorization sponsorship.
