We currently one Full-Time and one Casual position available for an Administrative Coordinator to support our Maintenance team.
Responsibilities:
- Parts room duties including: Ordering, receiving, organizing and putting away parts, supplying parts to mechanics as needed.
- Assisting with and coordinating the taking of inventory.
- Working with maintenance supervisory staff to ensure parts areas are maintained and controlled.
- Working in RTS and INFOR to generate PO’s, receipts and electronic records.
- Coordinating with management and accounts payable to correct PO issues as required.
- Working with vendors for purchasing.
- Shipping and receiving duties.
- Administrative tasks related to parts.
- Liaising with BC Transit personnel.
- Administrative tasks such as assigning buses to runs, monitoring, reconciling and uploading fuel and odometer information.
- Liaising with BC Transit maintenance over work order issues and rejections.
- Medium to heavy lifting will be required.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Qualification Criteria:
- Excellent customer service, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills essential;
- 2-3 years experience in a shop office environment
- Professional and friendly telephone manner;
- Strong knowledge of computers including Windows, Microsoft Office, Internet (Word, Excel, Outlook);
- Detail oriented;
- Experience with maintenance database systems;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
