Key accountabilities

  • Provide Operational supervision and leadership to the Afternoon Logistics operations team to ensure safe and high-quality logistics services
  • People Development by providing coaching, mentoring and trainings (GDP, Compliance, Safety, TDG etc.) to secure safe and efficient operations. Optimize capacity and resource
  • Develop and ensure continuous high quality supply of services to both internal and external customers; collaborate with peer functions: SCM, FF&P, Purchasing, Customer services, ComOps, GEM, HSE etc.
  • Ensure all SOPs, SWIs and all related quality documents are practiced with latest versions
  • Ensure year round readiness for all internal/external inspections and audits
  • Facilitate inspection/audit activities and address observations accordingly
  • Implemented performance metrics, including reporting and analysis. e.g. Cycle Count Reporting, Inventory Fulfillment, Warehouse and Resource Capacity Planning, Delivery/Voice Of Customers performance, Cold Chain performance and Safety and Compliance Reporting

Scope and dimensions

  • Provides leadership, direction to the Afternoon Logistics Operations team from receiving, put away, warehousing, pick/pack, distribution/transportation to internal site operations and external customers
  • Empower and develop team to a dynamic workforce
  • Compliance of HSE, GDP and regulatory requirements and practices in daily activities

Specific details related to environment

  • Understood industry Cold Chain requirements; incorporate to working environments including but not limited to operations (For instance, identify monitoring device), transportation (Trucking, Type of container used, packing configuration and compliance mechanisms (Validation Methodologies)
  • Sustainability on safety and ownership of quality mindset (HSE Trainings, Zero incident with high awareness on being Vigilant)
  • Provide and support other Sanofi Pasteur group on any distribution or logistics technical expertise in accordance to packaging and distribution flow
  • Support SAP focused Trainings on WM, MM and SD modules across sites
  • Support regional and global Distribution and Logistics initiatives
  • Initiate and implement preventive maintenance system to eliminate unwanted activities and crisis
  • Utilize Quality system to address any regulatory related on improvement initiatives
  • Ensure all maintenance related issues are timely initiated and completed

Education and experience

  • Supply Chain Working Experience +/- 8 years; Management Experience Preferred,
  • Bachelor degree in one of recommended disciplines: Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Economics or equivalent.
  • Certifications: Professional qualification in supply chain related discipline such as CPIM, CIRM. Professional Project Management Designation, P.Log, Green Belt, Six Sigma is preferred
