Job title: Manager, Finance Business Partnering & Analysis

Job description: Job Purpose:

Perform financial management and planning in order to maximize Sales, Gross Margin and Profit by driving for higher returns and efficiencies from Brand investment and innovations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing analytical support and financial leadership for strategic and tactical activities such as, pricing & promotional analysis, commercial calendar activities, investment and divestment proposals and business evaluation
  • Drive financial analyses in the areas of A&P Forecasting, Cashflow Forecasting, Consumption, Overheads, Synergies, Zero Based Budgeting, Price/Volume/Mix and Brand P&Ls
  • Ongoing optimization of Return On Investment (ROI) of A&P funds – drive decisions, modeling financial scenarios, make proposals on where to stop investing and start investing
  • Partnering on business cases to drive strategic growth and profitability for all Innovations including sales investments and promotional spend
  • Provide financial support for all key Commercial meetings including Monthly Performance Reviews (MPR), Demand Review Meetings (DRM), Portfolio Reviews (PMR), and cross functional Brand teams
  • Proactively drive the identification and support mitigation of Risks and Opportunities
  • Ensure delivery of annual financial results (e.g. Sales, Profit, Cashflow) as well as mid term growth targets for assigned Categories / Brands as well as for the enterprise as a whole
  • Partner to develop robust and sustainable 3-1 Plans
  • Optimize financial processes across Commercial in order to drive efficiencies while maintaining a strong compliance culture

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or other relevant area
  • 3 years experience in financial planning, reporting and/or forecasting
  • 3 – 5 years managing trade spend in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry
  • 3 – 5 years experience in Finance performing advanced analysis, management reporting
  • Direct experience in a business partnering role
  • Solid understanding of finance fundamentals
  • Superior Microsoft Excel financial modeling and strong PowerPoint skills; strong knowledge of ERP and business intelligence products such as SAP and Microsoft Power BI
  • Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills demonstrating the ability to understand key business drivers and offer workable solutions
  • Ability to interact and connect positively with individuals at all levels within an organization
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude, confident under pressure and determined to learn and sharpen skills on an ongoing basis

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA, CPA, or specialist degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or other relevant area.
