How you will make an impact
– Direct and supervise work of accounting and administrative team
– Regular review and analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts owned by clerical accounting team
– Team up with FP& A and accounting management to develop relevant, timely reports on financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook
– Assist in the preparation of GAAP financial statements, including document preparation, data analysis, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes
– Organize a variety of technical accounting analyses, procedures, and policies
– Drive and manage the full accounting team performance of the close process to meet close deadlines
Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience
– Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable
– 5+ years of recent relevant financial experience
– CPA/MBA preferred
– Month end closings experience
– Deep understanding of Office Administration
– Budget forecasting experience preferred
– Direct Supervision experience
– Solid technical skills
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset
– Active problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity
