Manager – Wireless Revenue Forecasting (Finance)

The Consumer Wireless Business Unit is seeking a marketing savvy and driven individual who is passionate about leveraging data analytics to uncover actionable insights, and solve problems. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Wireless Service Revenue, you’ll be responsible for working with business partners to transform Wireless operational metrics into IBRO KPIs to drive financial results and performance.

You will bring strong leadership, analytical and presentation skills to drive alignment across the organization to deliver positive financial results. Curiosity, open-mindedness, and a strong bias for data-driven decision making are what fuel you to come to work everyday.

What you will be doing:

  • Responsible for revenue results & analytics, driving an informed forecasting process for the consumer wireless business unit.
  • Support integration of revenue forecasting into financial planning and result & analytics processes
  • Play an active role in providing assumptions based on analysis of historical trends and expected shifts in key revenue drivers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Customer Base Management, Pricing, Sales) to understand strategy and it’s impact to key revenue and market inputs
  • Identify opportunities to continuously improve revenue planning and budgeting process as business continues to evolve (ex. new business segments, new products and revenue streams, etc)
  • Lead ad-hoc analyses of key KPIs that influence revenue performance, to deliver clear summary of wireless business results against targets
  • Build presentations for senior executive audiences to provide updates and explain KPI results
  • Understand business needs and priorities in order to make informed recommendations and present them in non-technical language at different forums/meetings

  • Strong business acumen, and P&L understanding. Ability to understand revenue implications of evolving strategy and market impacts
  • Exceptional ability to listen, educate, influence, and inform across all levels of the organization, including senior management
  • Ability to distill and communicate complex information to decision makers and key stakeholders in clear and concise manner
  • Ability to build rapport with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Desire to status the challenge quo, continuous improvement mindset
  • Experience with data-driven analysis and synthesizing insights and actionable recommendations
  • Ability to lead without authority and inspire confidence in a plan

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in finance, accounting, consulting, marketing and/or product/pricing management, preferably with telecom experience
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Mathematics, Engineering, or any other quantitative domain
  • Proficient in Microsoft office (excel, powerpoint)
