TalentWorld is recruiting a Manufacturing Engineer. In this role you will be responsible for process design, tool design, machinery upgrades, and implementation of new machinery. The ideal candidate will use design for manufacturing best practices in development of new parts and processes. The Candidate will also work on Bill of Materials and routing updates/corrections, including time studies. The manufacturing engineer will support company rules, policies, and other initiatives.

Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities

• Support company safety policies and procedures understand all applicable OHSA regulations, and ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Regularly required to stand, walk and use hands for long periods of time.
• Maintaining the quality of the production floor and to monitor process parameters regularly.
• Able to work in moderate noise levels in the workplace and keep all manufacturing areas neat and clean.
• Have experience with part design and development software, such as AutoCAD.
• Must be able to successfully pass Authorized Lockout/Tagout Program.
• Effective leadership/organizational skills.

Manufacturing Engineer Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or diploma in Manufacturing Engineering and a combination of related field experience.
• 5-10 Years’ experience in a Manufacturing environment
• 2-3 Experience in a Union Environment would be considered an asset.
• Project Management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects.
• Familiar with Lean Manufacturing principles and application.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office, proficient with Excel, power point, and AutoCAD.
• Ability to create CNC programs would be considered an asset.
