Job title: Manufacturing Engineer
Job description: Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in Vaughan, ON. The ideal candidate will be responsible to Completing required APQP-related activities, ECR processes, 8D, 5 Why, and all other Quality Management System requirements as needed, assist in training production personnel on operating new or existing tooling, equipment and processes, development and maintaining documentation for PFMEA, Continuous Improvement, provide quote direction for new business related to tooling, new materials and processes as required among other tasks as required. This is a full-time/permanent position.
Qualifications:
- Post-Secondary Degree in Engineering in Mechanical, Industrial, or a related field
- 5+ years related manufacturing engineering experience
- Strong technical knowledge, particularly in the areas of manufacturing and assembly preferred
- Previous electric engineering experience an asset
- Understanding of Project Management, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma techniques
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
Salary: $65,000 – $85,000 per year (depending on experience and qualifications)
