Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading KPI optimization and automation initiatives, leveraging all data sources. This person will support the manufacturing team by creating performance dashboards and reports which are coherent, visually immersive, and interactively insightful and actionable, at all organizational levels. The candidate will be accountable for leading and supporting operational excellence projects which drive performance improvement in the key metrics. Collaboration with other business units, such as, Finance, IT, Supply Chain, Sales, and the Global Operations Teams will be essential.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Build a level of data analysis service to all 24 manufacturing sites in North America.
  • Provide data analysis support to the Director, VP, and C-Suite levels.
  • Work with the IT team to leverage existing and/or new platforms which facilitate the collection of data, creation of dashboards, and distribution of information.
  • Support the manufacturing sites in the collection and communication of savings and cost out resulting from Operational Excellence initiatives.
  • Identify, create, and develop business opportunities identified through root cause analysis of current business processes.
  • Communicate recommendations regarding the resolutions of issues to the relevant internal or external parties and drive consensus on the appropriate corrective action.
  • Lead internal process improvement projects and work with IT on sustainable, long term solutions.
  • Cooperate with other internal departments according to business needs and strategies of Sales, Supply Chain, IT, and Finance.
  • Lead continuous improvement agenda.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

Required

  • University degree or College diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain or a Business-related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Manufacturing
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a previous analytical, strategy, consulting, or research role

Preferred

  • Lean, or Six Sigma, training is considered an asset.
  • Project management experience
  • Excellent written and oral English skills; French language skills an asset
  • Excellent Microsoft Office suite skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong influencing skills (up, down, across the organization)
