POSITION SUMMARY

The role of Functional Analyst consists, in conjunction with the Solution Manager, in managing the full life cycle of the IS&T applications supporting the different Manufacturing processes and to optimize them to bring the most value to BRP. Involved in the Idea Management process(Continuous Improvement) with all manufacturing sites, the role also consists in recommending improvements to answer customer needs and optimize each platform; taking advantage of its current and future functionalities. The Functional Analyst needs to have a thorough functional knowledge of all the applications under his (her) responsibility.

YOUR KEY RESPONSABILITIES

  • Manage the application lifecycle of a portion of the Order To Delivery application portfolio (Manufacturing Execution System, Maintenance, Quality Processes and Audit, LowCode Cloud Platform (PowerApps, PowerAutomate, etc…))
  • Maintain application Register for the domain with associated contracts, required upgrades, risks, and opt-in opportunities, including some basic documentation for critical applications (RunBook).
  • Manage and optimize the number of licenses for each application
  • Participate in the Idea Management process and in the Center of Excellence for Manufacturing Improvement Delivery Model with the different BRP sites
  • Participate in new projects to evaluate and select best tools / applications for new business needs in tight collaboration with project teams, solution architects and solution managers.
  • Elaborate, document and follow use cases on projects related to his/her applications
  • Ensure quality of projects delivered for his/her applications
  • Be involved in establishing and maintaining standards for development, test and release management
  • Develop / maintain governance for managing licenses and add-ons on existing and new applications

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, College Degree or Associate’s Degree in computer science, information systems or a related study, or equivalent project-related experience.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in Information Systems (Support, Configurations, Improvements, Deployments of systems supporting Manufacturing Operations)
  • Experience in business relationship management and project management is an asset

Nice to Have Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Manufacturing Domain: BOMS, BOPS, Routings, Production Orders
  • Knowledge of Systems surrounding Manufacturing Operations such as ERP(SAP), MES, CMMS(GMAO), Manufacturing Business Processes and Tools/Functionalities
  • Knowledge of System Integrations concepts (API, Service Bus, Rest, ETL, etc…)
  • Knowledge of Data analytics tools (SQL, PowerBI, Excel)
