Job title: Manufacturing General Labour
Job description: EQ3 is an innovative leader in furniture and accessory design with retail locations across Canada and the US and a rapidly growing e-commerce presence. We are currently seeking highly motivated, positive, and dedicated individuals to join the Upholstery Operations team in various full-time positions at our manufacturing plant located at 70 Lexington Park, Winnipeg, MB. General working hours are 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.
SKILLS YOU WILL NEED:
- Ability to follow instructions and work under minimal supervision
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to move and/or lift 50lbs unassisted
- Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is considered an asset
TASKS MAY INCLUDE:
- Pack finished product as per purchase orders and ensure products to be packed meet the quality requirements
- Textile and leather cutting
- Build, spring, and evaluate upholstery frames for manufacturing
- Fill upholstery covers according to product specifications
- Ensure that raw materials are received and organized in inventory locations
- Cleaning of common areas
