Pharmascience is presently looking for a Manufacturing Operator to be part of our Candiac oral solide dosage (OSD) production team. The Manufacturing Operator is responsible for the production of solid dosage using validated specialized equipment and use raw materials according to established procedures.
Responsabilities & Duties
- Prepare rooms and equipment to weigh ingredients and manufacture according to procedures in place
- Perform all manufacturing operations (weighing, mixing, granulation, drying, compression, encapsulation and coating)
- Perform weighing
- SAP transactions
- Execute in-process testing (weight, hardness, thickness, disintegration, LOD, etc.)
- Complete production records, document and count made units, evaluate performance, justify rejected quantities
- When required, clean equipment and rooms used or to be used
- Participate in writing and updating work instructions
- Act as a trainer if necessary
- Apply current safety standards, GMP and internal regulations
Skills, knowledge & abilities
- Excellent knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
- Good mechanical skills
- Autonomous and ability to work in a team
- Basic computer knowledge
Working conditions & physical environment
- Move barrels of raw material for weighing (50 Kg)
- Move equipment (50 kg)
Education : High School Diploma
Diploma of College Studies
Experience : 3 years: More than 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing techniques (assembly, disassembly and handling of equipment).
