MANUFACTURING PLANNING ASSOCIATE
Reporting to the Manager, Production Planning (West), the Manufacturing Planning Associate will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing schedules that are aligned to the constrained committed forecast. The incumbent will ensure best practices in demand planning, inventory planning, and monitoring manufacturing capabilities to ensure growth demands are met. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment and have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Optimize manufacturing schedules, including coordination of work orders and assumed lead-times to ensure sufficient product availability within several distinct markets
- Collaborate with purchasing to ensure timely material availability and anticipate delays
- Reviewing forecasts in collaboration with leadership and commercial stakeholders to identify gaps and recommend solutions in relation to capacity and material concerns.
- Preparing and maintaining progress and other reports including KPI’s
- Analyze and resolve scheduling issues that would cause production delays with site leadership
- Provide schedule adherence and reconcile visibility to stakeholders
- Comply with GMP’s, SOP’s and other company processes and policies
- Understand and follow all related SOPs and procedures to GMP standards
- Complete all required documentation using good documentation practices
- Comply with Company safety program and create a culture of safety and teamwork in the manufacturing department and throughout the facility
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Pharmaceutical or manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience working in a regulated space
- Advanced knowledge of computer software applications, with proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, Word & PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt; maintain focus and a high degree of accuracy while working with complex data in an environment of ever-changing deadlines, priorities, and requirements
- Accountable for results, strives to meet and exceed expectations
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field recommended
- 2-5 plus years of manufacturing, batching, maintenance, facilities, and/or inventory control experience
