Job description: Dean Group’s Manufacturing division is searching for an Manufacturing Supervisor.

Role: Manufacturing Supervisor
Location: Waterloo, ON
Industry: Tech/X-Rays

Contract length: Temporary – permanent
Wage: Depending on experience
Shifts: Monday – Friday, Days

Manufacturing Supervisor job responsibilities:

• Oversee the custom camera and sensor production areas.
• Supervision of any other support staff assisting the production areas.
• Control the delivery of products
• Providing clear direction of activities for manufacturing associates
• Establishing goals/objectives and evaluating performance.
• Planning and provision of comprehensive training plans for each manufacturing associate.
• Managing the monthly metrics that indicate the performance levels of the group
• Participating in the budget setting for the department including maintaining expenses
• Other duties as required

What you will need to be a successful Manufacturing Supervisor:

• College Certificate in Electronics Technologist or Technician.
• Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience preferably in an electronic manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Cleanroom rules and procedures is expected.
• Strong communication skills
• Strong leadership skills
